Picking up where I left off....

My goodness it has been quite a while since my last post back in November of 2012. This has become quite the neglected blog! My busy life has kept me from keeping up with my blog. Life does get in the way of doing fun things. Just getting through each day had been a challenge, but I am hopeful that I will be able to find more time for myself. Life is short, so we all should try and do the things we enjoy. With the new year I thought I would try and see if I can post once in a while. Won't make and promises but I will try...I have a lot of catching up to do! There have been several changes in my life, some good and some not so good. I'm still knitting, but not as much as I used to and not so fast as in the past.

Here's a blanket that I knitted as a wedding present given in July 2013. It took me forever to finish, but I did finish just in time. Check it out:

More to come later...this is a start. A new start for a new year :)
Happy New Year and Happy Knitting :)

  1. Hey, welcome back, Deb! How nice it is to see a post here at your blog. You were missed, for sure. I've become a lackadaisical blogger myself with no excuse but laziness. o.O lol
Wow, that is really a gorgeous blanket! Love the pattern. I can't imagine the time it took to knit it. I'm sure the recipient was thrilled.
Hope you do find time to keep posting. Yours has always been one of my favorite blogs.
    Happy New Year!

  3. I have been checking out some of my 'old' blogging friends. And I found that you had posted something this year. Glad to see you are back at it. I always loved to see what you were working on.

  4. I've been pretty sporadic too - trying to get back to it.
