by Alice Medrich. This is the only recipe I use for chocolate chip cookies. With three growing boys excluding my husband, I have been known to double this recipe. I take a short cut and melt the butter in my microwave as well and use a small ice cream scoop to form the cookies. Needless to say, they do not linger in my kitchen for long. Yum!

ReplyDeleteI just made my cookies again this weekend and this time I substituted 100% white whole wheat flour (King Arthur) for the white flour and never told my family. They couldn't tell the difference. If I had told them what I did, they wouln't have like them at all. Guess it's our little secret!
