Last night I attached my first two strips of my tessellated fish blanket (fish-a-long) using Cathy's method:
Here's a closeup of the braided crochet seaming. Very easy by the way :)
I have another prayer shawl to show you that I've neglected to show you earlier:
Not very exciting, knitted using AC Moore mill ends "camouflage" alternating with black, a good shawl for a man. I finished this awhile ago. My next one is almost finished, so that give you an idea of how long it's been.
happy knitting :)
Very nice! I've used that braided crochet in my log cabin baby blanket and I like it, too.
ReplyDeleteThe fish blanket is just so cute!
ReplyDeleteI have the Knitter's issue with this pattern in it somewhere and I'm thinking of digging it out. I fell in love with the design way back then, did a single fish and stopped knitting for a while. That pink fish is floating around somewhere--hopefully not belly-up. Anyway, you've inspired me to maybe get one of these things going. Your's is so fun and colorful.
ReplyDeleteI love the colour of that prayer shawl - and of course, I love the fishies.
